February 2011 Building Update

Work on the new Ingenium building in Cream Street is now in the finishing stage. Railings on all the floors and staircases have been installed and are in the process of being painted. Inner and outer walls as well as dividers on the first and second floor have received their first coat of paint. Floor tiles have been laid on most of the ground and second floors; tiling has begun in the corridors of the second floor. Materials for the roof over the quadrangle have been delivered and are being prepared for fabrication while orders for glass for the windows are being readied. Classroom furniture have already been fabricated and are just awaiting assembly.

The Grade School will move from Zenith to Cream Street in May, just in time for the June opening of SY 2011-2012. Only the first and second floors will be used initially. Minor finishing work on the third and fourth floors will continue and will be completed as the need for additional space arises.
