Desired Outcomes

The years of basic education in INGENIUM aim at developing the habits, the intellectual framework, the human experience, by which, in their mature age, its graduates are disposed to behave as envisioned.  It is in developing such students and graduates, each to his or her fullest potentials, that Ingenium seeks to contribute to “a better Philippines.”

Concretely, INGENIUM’s mission and vision  translates to the formation of young boys and girls who

  • have a strong sense of self-worth and self-discipline,
  • are curious and think critically and creatively
  • are highly literate and capable problem solvers
  • express themselves and communicate well,
  • get along and work well with others,
  • show respect for diversity of backgrounds and beliefs as well as for the environment,
  • choose and do what is right and good for themselves and for others, and
  • have faith in God and in themselves.

INGENIUM’s vision of the desired qualities of its students and graduates finds greatest resonance in Singapore’s own vision for its students. The table below, modeled after the desired outcomes of Singapore education, presents the outcomes  INGENIUM basic education aspires for.  INGENIUM  envisions to continually refine this framework and its translation into curricular and co-curricular programs that will be most responsive to the needs and exigencies of the times not just in the Philippines but globally.
